So, it is not fair if you compare with professional grade and higher priced pods. But most pictures still taken better than any tripod and the appeal of this model is very nice. Its light weight also will make you carry it more often.
Velbon tripod DF-50 series has a tendency to vibrate a bit when extended completely, so I think it generally is best suited for cameras without a lot of mechanics going on when you trip the shutter.
Over all, Velbon tripod DF-50 series is fair enough for that price, but remember : don’t compare this stuff with higher or professional grade tripods.
